| I like this comic that I have put up today. I think it's a pretty good one. Here is a new link to Tall Comics, from one Kent Paul Dolan. I guess he basically reads a lot of webcomics and has a huge links page? Anyway, he liked Tall Comics, and sent me a very nice email, so I am going to assume that he is a good dude. I finally finished reading this book by this author. I don't know why I didn't do so earlier (Safe answer: I was up to my neck in Victorian literature, which I needed to read as source material for my weekly RPG sessions). Anyway, it was one of the best books I've read in a long time. I would definitely recommend it as a good example of literature. Mr. Enger writes excellent prose, which has kind of a classic feel, but its own personality. Also, he writes characters really well. Check out the dynamic between the sort of wimpy antihero and the domineering villain. It's really great. I certainly enjoyed Leif Enger's work, and I hope that he continues to enjoy mine. Sorry, Mr. Enger, for not reading your book right away when I had been asking for it for so long, and you went out of your way to autograph it for me. |
